3 construction workers die after falling from building in Ctg

Three construction workers tragically died after falling from an under-construction building in the Kotwali area of Chattogram city. The incident occurred around 12 noon on Friday, July 18, while they were working on the 9th floor.

The deceased workers have been identified as Fakhrul Islam (26), Md. Rashed (24), and Mohammad Hasan (18). Their bodies have been taken to Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH).

Kotwali Police Station Sub-Inspector (SI) Sheikh Tarikul Islam confirmed the incident, stating that the bodies have been kept at the hospital morgue and the families of the victims have been informed. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the accident.

Md. Russell, another worker at the site, said the building under construction is an 11-storey structure known as Rangam Convention Hall in the Kotwali area. According to him, the three workers were working on the 9th floor when they suddenly fell together.
