According to the notification, Dr. Mohammad Shahid Hossain Chowdhury, Secretary of the Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change, has been appointed DC of Patuakhali, while Abu Hasnat Mohammad Arefin, the outgoing DC of Patuakhali, has been assigned to Kushtia.

Meherpur DC Sifat Mehnaz has been transferred to Kurigram, Ministry of Home Affairs Secretary Dr. Mohammad Abdul Salam to Meherpur, Zonal Settlement Officer Mohammad Abdullah Al Mahmud Zaman to Netrokona, and Kushtia DC Mohammad Tawfiqur Rahman to Khulna.

These transfers are part of the government’s ongoing efforts to strengthen field administration in key districts during the election period.
