3 goes missing after trawler collides with ferry in Khulna

Three passengers went missing after a trawler collided with a ferry on the Bhairab River late Thursday night. The incident occurred around 11 PM, according to local sources.

The trawler, which had departed from Jailkhana Ghat, struck a ferry in the middle of the river, causing the passengers to fall into the water. Fire Service divers have launched a rescue operation to locate them.

One of the missing passengers has been identified as Akash, a resident of Aichghati Union in Rupsa Upazila. The identities of the other two passengers are yet to be confirmed.
