3 injured in indiscriminate firing by miscreants in capital

Three people have been shot by the indiscriminate firing of miscreants in Samibag Munshirtek area of Gandaria in the capital.

The incident occurred around 7pm on Sunday (August 30). The injured were later taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.

The injured are Asha Akhtar, 20, tea vendor Alamgir, 33, and Siyam, 18. The injured claimed that they are all pedestrians.

Confirming the matter In-charge Inspector of Dhaka Medical College Hospital police outpost Md Faruk informed that Siyam has been hit by a bullet on the left side of the chest, Alamgir on the head and Asha on the right leg. The injured are currently under treatment in the emergency department of the hospital and the matter has been informed to the concerned police station.
