3 killed, 10 injured as bus overturns in Sirajganj
Three people were killed and at least ten others injured after a passenger bus overturned in Nalka area while traveling from North Bengal to Dhaka.
The accident took place around 11:00am on the westbound Yamuna Bridge connecting highway on Friday (April 3), when the driver lost control.
According to police, the bus struck the road divider and flipped, killing three passengers on the spot.
The identities of the victims have not yet been confirmed.
Local authorities, including police and fire services, rushed to the scene and began rescue operations.
Confirming the matter, Bangabandhu West Bridge Police Station OC Amirul Islam said, "The injured were taken to nearby hospitals, and efforts to remove the overturned bus are underway."
