3 killed, 15 injured in head-on collision between bus and army vehicle in Phulpur

Three people, including the bus driver, were killed in a head-on collision between a bus and an army vehicle in Phulpur, Mymensingh. At least 15 people were injured in the incident.

The accident occurred at around 11 am in the Balia More area of ​​Phulpur on Wednesday, February 18. The bus and the army vehicle were twisted and twisted in the collision.

The deceased were bus driver Bishu, army vehicle driver Sergeant Rezaul Karim and an unidentified pedestrian.

Police said that a head-on collision occurred between a bus heading to Sherpur from Mymensingh and an army vehicle heading to Mymensingh in the morning. About 15 people were injured in the accident. The injured were taken to Phulpur Health Complex, where three were declared dead. The three seriously injured were admitted to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital.

Mymensingh Additional Superintendent of Police Abdullah Al Mamun said that the injured were rescued and taken to the hospital after the accident. Some are undergoing treatment at the Phulpur Health Complex, and the seriously injured have been sent to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital for better treatment.
