At least three people were killed on the spot when a bus runned over a CNG-run autorickshaw on the Nabinagar-Kampaniganj regional road in Brahmanbaria.
The accident took place on Thursday morning (June 5).
The deceased were identified as Sohel Mia, 25, from Narayanpur village in Nabinagar Sadar; Abul Kashem, 35, from Charlapang village, and Nur-e Alam, 55, a launch engine engineer from Feni.
According to police and local sources, the CNG-run autorickshaw was heading to Companyganj in Muradnagar upazila of Cumilla via the Nabinagar-Kampaniganj road to refuel gas. Police recovered the bodies and transported them to the Nabinagar Upazila Health Complex.

"Both the vehicles involved in the accident have been taken into police custody," he said.
