3 killed in separate road crash in Gazipur

At least three people were killed and two others injured in separate motorcycle accidents in Gazipur on Saturday night.

One fatal collision took place around 11:30pm on the Dhaka–Mymensingh Highway in the Rajendrapur area under Gazipur Metropolitan’s Sadar Police Station. Police recovered two bodies from the scene and sent them to Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmad Medical College Hospital for autopsy.

Shortly after midnight, another accident took place near the Bangladesh Rice Research Institute on the Shibbari–Chandna intersection. A motorcycle carrying three individuals collided head-on with a private car. One passenger died on the spot, while the rider and another passenger sustained injuries and were admitted to the same hospital.

Confirming about both the accidents, Gazipur Metro Sadar Police Station's Officer-In-charge (OC) Mehedi Hasan, said, "The identities of the deceased and injured have yet to confirmed,"
