3 more children die with measles symptoms in 24 hours

Three children died with measles symptoms across the country in the last 24 hours. However, no one died from confirmed measles during this period.

The information was provided in a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services on Saturday.

The total number of deaths from measles and measles symptoms in the country this year has now risen to 1,087. Among them, 101 died from confirmed measles and 986 died with measles symptoms.

In the last 24 hours, one person each died with measles symptoms in Dhaka, Khulna and Cumilla districts.

During the same period, 84 people were detected with measles. So far, 21,099 people have been infected with confirmed measles.

Additionally, measles symptoms were found in 980 people in 24 hours. With this, the total number of suspected infections has reached 186,813.
