3 more children die with measles symptoms

In the last 24 hours, three more children have died with measles symptoms across the country. All the deaths were in Dhaka division. During this time, 1,089 people have been newly infected.

According to the Directorate General of Health Services, 689 children have died from measles and measles symptoms across the country since March 15. Of these, 93 children have definitely died of measles. And 596 have died with measles symptoms.

At the same time, 11,390 people have been confirmed to be infected with measles (proven in tests). And 95,760 people have come to the hospital with measles symptoms. The number of infected and deaths is highest in Dhaka division. In this division, 311 people have died with measles and symptoms and 51,771 people have been infected. This is the calculation from 8am on March 15 to 8am today (June 24).
