3 more die of dengue, 685 hospitalised

Mosquito-borne disease dengue claimed three more lives in the last 24 hours across the country. during this time, 685 new patients were admitted to different hospitals.

With this, the total number of deaths from dengue this year has risen to 150, while the total number of cases has reached 37,891.

The information was confirmed in a report released on Sunday (September 14) by the health emergency operation centre and control room of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

according to the report, between 8am Saturday and 8am Sunday, 244 patients were admitted to hospitals in Dhaka city, 89 in Chattogram division (excluding city corporation), 122 in Dhaka division, 125 in Barishal division, 35 in Khulna division, 39 in Rajshahi division, 21 in Mymensingh division, 6 in Rangpur division and 4 in Sylhet division.
