30 killed including RAB-Police-BGB in 24 hours: DMCH

At least 30 people, including members of RAB, Police, and BGB, were killed in clashes and shootings over a 24-hour period in various locations, including the capital, in protests demanding the government's resignation.

Inspector Bachchu Mia, in charge of the police camp at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), confirmed this information.

He said, "A total of 128 people were injured in the capital and surrounding areas from Tuesday to Wednesday morning. Of these, 11 were admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), where 30 were declared dead by the emergency department doctor."

"Among the deceased, some have been identified as members of RAB, Police, and BGB," he added.

The deceased are identified as Policeman Mahfuzur Rahman (24) from Sangsad Bhavan, Ashraful Howladar (20) from Badda, Unidentified (22) from Kuwait Maitri Hospital, Hafez Mo Mahmudul Hasan (26) from Uttara, Unidentified (40) policeman from Jatrabari. Unidentified (30) from Jatrabari, Policeman Anwar Hossain (57) from Jatrabari, Rabbi (21) from Motijheel, Policeman Abdul Alim (46) from Gazipur, Unidentified (35) from Hatirjheel, Unidentified (30) Policeman from Jatrabari, Policeman Russell Mahmud (21) from Jatrabari, Monir Hossain (45) from Jatrabari, SI Russell (44) of Uttara East Police Station, Unidentified (38) Policeman from Uttara, Unidentified (32) from Uttara, Unidentified (40) from Uttara, Asif (16) from Gulshan, policeman Sultan (30) from Comilla, RAB member Police Inspector Hasmat Ali (40), Noor Alam (21) from Kamrangirchar, RAB member JCO Anwar (41) of BGB, and Naik of BGB from Gazipur. Abdul Alim (45), Policeman Sanjay Kumar Das (39) from Jatrabari, DB Inspector Russell (38) from Uttara, Shaon (22) from Bangshal, Unidentified (50) Policeman from Uttara Crescent Hospital, Policeman Rubel (22) from Mirpur, Monir (45) from Postagola and Bappi Ahmed (35) from Hatirjheel.
