35 years age limit for govt jobs demanded
A group of protesters took to the street at Shahbagh on Sunday afternoon, rejecting the recent decision to set the age limit for entry into government jobs at 32.
They demanded that the limit be extended to 35 years.
Around 35 demonstrators gathered in front of the public library in Shahbagh on Sunday, voicing their discontent and calling for immediate action to address their demands.
The protest took place under tight security, with a significant police presence on-site to prevent any untoward incidents.
Protester MA Ali said: “We want to inform the current government that the age limit must be raised to 35. Students will do whatever it takes to achieve this. You are in power because of our sacrifices, and now it’s time to listen to us.”
