4 of a family found dead inside Rangpur house
Police have discovered the remains of a former educator from Rangpur Zilla School, along with those of his spouse, son, and daughter, inside a locked residence in the Machuapara neighborhood of Rangpur city.
The remains were found after law enforcement officials forcibly opened the door of the house on Saturday night, August 22, which caused considerable alarm among local residents.
The deceased have been identified as Ganapati Chakraborty Jewel, aged 65, his wife Pritilata Chakraborty Bhola,50, their daughter Prarthi Chakraborty, 25, and their son Priyam Chakraborty,12. According to police and nearby residents, the house had been secured for a prolonged period, which led to growing concerns among the neighbors. Subsequently, police arrived at the location, broke the lock, and entered the premises, where they discovered the four bodies.
The remains were then retrieved.
