A total of 43 examinees at the Shibganj Government M.H. College centre in Bogura were mistakenly given the 2025 creative question paper instead of the 2026 paper for the HSC 2026 Logic examination. The Rajshahi Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board has formed a committee to investigate the incident.

The incident occurred during the examination on Wednesday, July 15, due to negligence by the room invigilator assigned to room 107 at the centre.

According to a report sent by centre authorities, the 43 examinees in that room were mistakenly given last year's creative question paper. However, the multiple-choice question (MCQ) papers were distributed correctly.

Immediately after the error was detected, the matter was reported in writing to the Rajshahi Education Board. Along with the report, a list of the roll numbers of the 43 examinees who received the wrong question papers was sent, requesting necessary action.

The centre secretary noted in his report that the incident was completely unintentional and occurred due to negligence by the room invigilator. He appealed for a decision to be taken from a humanitarian perspective.

Regarding the matter, Rajshahi Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board Chairman Professor Dr Shamima Ara Chowdhury said, "We have been informed about the incident. A committee has been formed to investigate the matter."
