45th BCS results published today, 1,807 candidates recommended

The Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) has released the final results of the 45th BCS examination, with a total of 1,807 candidates declared recommended for various sectors.

The announcement was made through a PSC notification on Wednesday night (November 26), and the results are available on the commission’s official website.

According to the notification, the results pertain to cadre posts under Rule 17 of the Bangladesh Civil Service Rules, 2014. Although there were 2,309 vacant posts across various cadres in the 45th BCS, the PSC has provisionally recommended 1,807 candidates for appointment.

Meanwhile, the written examination for the 47th BCS began on Thursday (November 27) at 10:00am across eight divisional centers in the country.

In the days leading up to the exam, candidates had staged protests, blockades, and submitted memorandums in Dhaka and other areas demanding a postponement. Yesterday afternoon, protesters also held a press conference at the Madhur Canteen of Dhaka University, announcing a boycott of the exam.
