46th BCS written exam result published

Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) has published the results of the 46th BCS written exam. A total of 4,042 candidates have passed the exam.

The results were published on the PSC official website on Thursday (November 27) night.

The PSC said that the 46th BCS viva exam is likely to start from the last week of December. The detailed schedule of the exam will be announced later.

A total of 3,140 posts were advertised for recruitment in the 46th BCS. Of these, the highest number of posts will be in the health cadre. A total of 1,682 people will be appointed as assistant surgeons in the health cadre and 16 people will be appointed as assistant dental surgeons.

The second highest number of posts is in the education cadre. A total of 920 people will be appointed in the education cadre in various subjects. In addition, 274 people will be recruited in the administration cadre, 10 in the foreign affairs cadre, 80 in the police cadre, 14 in the Ansar cadre, 49 in the family planning cadre, 26 in the fisheries cadre, and 65 in the public works cadre.
