The written test (MCQ type) of the 49th Special Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) exam will be held on October 10, the Public Service Commission (PSC) announced on Wednesday (September 10). In a notification signed by Controller of Examinations (Cadre) Masuma Afreen, the PSC said the exam will take place only at the Dhaka center from 10am to 12 noon. Detailed schedules, hall-wise seating arrangements, and instructions will be published later on the PSC website and in national newspapers. The 49th Special BCS exam, notified on July 21, aims to recruit 653 teachers for government general colleges and 30 teachers for government teacher training colleges.

আগামী ১০ অক্টোবর ৪৯তম (বিশেষ) বিসিএস পরীক্ষার এমসিকিউ টাইপ লিখিত পরীক্ষা অনুষ্ঠিত হবে। বুধবার (১০ সেপ্টেম্বর) দুপুরে সরকারি কর্ম কমিশনের পরীক্ষা নিয়ন্ত্রক (ক্যাডার) মাসুমা আফরীনের স্বাক্ষরিত এক বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে এ তথ্য জানানো হয়েছে। বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে বলা হয়েছে, আগামী ১০ অক্টোবর সকাল ১০টা থেকে দুপুর ১২টা পর্যন্ত পরীক্ষা শুধুমাত্র ঢাকা কেন্দ্রে অনুষ্ঠিত হবে। পরীক্ষার সময়সূচি, হলভিত্তিক আসন ব্যবস্থা ও গুরুত্বপূর্ণ নির্দেশনা পরবর্তী সময়ে বাংলাদেশ সরকারি কর্ম কমিশনের ওয়েবসাইট এবং দৈনিক জাতীয় পত্রিকায় প্রকাশ করা হবে। জানা গেছে, সরকারি সাধারণ কলেজগুলোর জন্য ৬৫৩ জন এবং সরকারি শিক্ষক প্রশিক্ষণ কলেজগুলোর জন্য ৩০ জন শিক্ষক নিয়োগের জন্য গত ২১ জুলাই ৪৯তম বিশেষ বিসিএসের বিজ্ঞপ্তি প্রকাশ করা হয়েছিল পিএসসি দ্বারা। &nbsp;
