5 Bangladeshis killed in road accident in Qatar

A total of six people, including five Bangladeshis, were killed in a road accident in Qatar. The accident occurred in the Shahania area of ​​the country on Saturday morning local time.

The deceased Bangladeshis are Jasim Uddin, Jibal Uddin, Mustaq Ahmed, Zubair Ahmed and Quader Ahmed from Gachbari village in Kanaighat upazila of Sylhet.

It is learned that they were going to work in a pickup van. On the way, the vehicle lost control and crashed, killing six people on the spot. The other deceased is an Indian citizen.

After the accident, the bodies of the deceased have been kept in the morgue of a local hospital.

Ahmed Malek, General Secretary of Jalalabad Association Qatar, said that initiatives are being taken to send the bodies to the country quickly in coordination with the Bangladesh Embassy.
