A total of 508 Rohingyas have been relocated Bhasan Char after a seven-month hiatus. The Rohingyas refugees from various camps in Ukhiya-Teknaf gathered at the temporary transit point at Ukhiya College, expressing their interest in joining this 25th transfer phase to Bhasan Char on Tuesday. They departed for Chattogram at night and are expected to arrive at Bhasan Char by ship under the supervision of the Navy the following day. The Additional Refugee Relief and Repatriation Commissioner (Joint Secretary) Mohammad Shamsud Douza Nayan confirmed the process. He said a total of 901 Rohingyas, including the 393 who had returned to the Cox's Bazar camps for visits, were sent to Bhasan Char. He emphasized that this relocation is part of an ongoing initiative. They were trasported via 20 buses and trucks.

সাতমাস বিরতির পর ফের শুরু হয়েছে রোহিঙ্গা শরণার্থীদের ভাসানচরে স্থানান্তর। ২৫তম দফায় কক্সবাজারের উখিয়া-টেকনাফের ক্যাম্পগুলো থেকে নোয়াখালীর দ্বীপটিতে পাঠানো হয়েছে মোট ৫০৮ জন রোহিঙ্গাকে। স্বেচ্ছায় স্থানান্তরে আগ্রহী রোহিঙ্গা শরণার্থীদের সোমবার (২৮ অক্টোবর) উখিয়া কলেজের অস্থায়ী ট্রানজিট পয়েন্টে জড়ো করা হয়। ২০টি বাস এবং ট্রাকে করে তাদেরকে এনে রাতে চট্টগ্রামে রাখা হয়। মঙ্গলবার (২৯ অক্টোবর) সকালে নৌবাহিনীর তত্ত্বাবধানে রোহিঙ্গা শরণার্থীদের জাহাজে করে ভাসানচরে পাঠিয়ে দেয় হয়েছে বলে জানিয়েছেন অতিরিক্ত শরণার্থী ত্রাণ ও প্রত্যাবাসন কমিশনার (যুগ্ম সচিব) মোহাম্মদ শামসুদ দৌজা নয়ন। তিনি জানান, কক্সবাজার ক্যাম্পে ফিরে আসা ৩৯৩ জনসহ মোট ৯০১ জন রোহিঙ্গাকে ভাসানচরে পাঠানো হয়েছে। এই স্থানান্তর চলমান উদ্যোগের অংশ।
