50th BCS Preliminary Results Announced: 12,385 advance to written test

The Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) on Tuesday announced the results of the 50th BCS preliminary examination, with a total of 12,385 candidates qualifying for the next stage.

The results were published on the PSC’s official website and signed by Masuma Afrin, PSC Exam Controller (Cadre).

According to the notification, the written examination for the successful candidates is expected to begin on April 9.

The PSC had earlier issued the 50th BCS recruitment notice on November 26, 2025, for 1,755 cadre and 385 non-cadre posts. A total of 290,951 candidates applied to sit for the preliminary test, which was held simultaneously on January 30 at 190 centres across Dhaka and seven divisional cities.
