51 EC officials transferred

The Election Commission has transferred 51 officials as part of its ongoing changes in the field administration focusing on the upcoming 13th National Parliament Election.

The decision was announced on Tuesday (July 15) through a notification signed by Senior Assistant Secretary of the Election Commission Secretariat Mohammad Shahidur Rahman.

The notification mentioned that the previous decision regarding the transfer of Pallabi Police Station Election Officer Mosammat Razia Sultana, Demra Police Station Officer Md. Ahsan Habib and Muradnagar Upazila Election Officer Md. Shahid Hossain of Cumilla has been revised and a new notification has been issued.

All the transferred officials have been ordered to be relieved from their current jobs by July 22. If they are not relieved within the stipulated time, they will be considered relieved immediately from July 23.
