512 dengue patients hospitalised in 24 hours

A total of 512 dengue patients were admitted to various hospitals across the country in the last 24 hours, according to a press release from the Health Emergency Operation Centre and Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services on Friday, September 4.

Of the hospitalised patients, 280 were admitted in Dhaka division, 57 in Mymensingh division, 109 in Chattogram division, 72 in Khulna division, 21 in Barishal division and 13 in Rangpur division.

A total of 40,044 dengue patients have been admitted to hospitals across the country as of September 4 this year. No deaths were reported in the last 24 hours. A total of 111 people have died from dengue this year.

A total of 726 patients were discharged from hospitals after recovery in the last 24 hours. A total of 37,193 dengue patients have recovered and been discharged this year.

In 2025, a total of 102,861 dengue cases and 413 deaths were recorded from January 1 to December 31.
