52 police officers transferred-promoted, including zdditional IGPs

A total of 52 police officers have been transferred and promoted across the ranks of Additional Inspector General of Police (Additional IGP), Deputy Inspector General (DIG), Additional DIG, and Superintendent of Police (SP).

The Ministry of Home Affairs issued separate notifications announcing this on Monday (August 25).

The notifications state that 12 officers currently serving as Additional IGP have been promoted to Additional IGP, while six officers elevated to Supernumerary SP have been confirmed as regular DIGs. Another notification changed the postings of 12 DIGs, and a separate notification transferred and posted 14 officers holding the rank of SP.
