565 nomination forms collected for 28 DUCSU posts

The deadline for collecting nomination forms for the Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (DUCSU) and hall union elections ended on Monday (18 August). A total of 565 nomination forms were sold for 28 DUCSU posts, while 1,226 forms were sold for the hall union elections in 18 halls.

Candidates must submit their nomination forms by 3.00pm on Tuesday (19 August).

According to hall-wise statistics, the highest number of forms was collected from Dr. Muhammad Shahidullah Hall with 97, while the lowest was from Bangladesh-Kuwait Maitree Hall with 29. In other halls, 71 forms were collected from Salimullah Muslim Hall, 66 from Jagannath Hall, 78 from Fazlul Huq Muslim Hall, 93 from Shaheed Sergeant Zahurul Haque Hall, 46 from Rokeya Hall, 90 from Surya Sen Hall, 74 from Haji Muhammad Mohsin Hall, 37 from Shamsunnahar Hall, 74 from Kabi Jasim Uddin Hall, 87 from Muktijoddha Ziaur Rahman Hall, 69 from Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Hall, 30 from Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib Hall, 84 from Amar Ekushey Hall, 40 from Kabi Sufia Kamal Hall, 88 from Bijoy Ekattor Hall, and 73 from Sir A. F. Rahman Hall.
