6 officers including DMP Joint Commissioners transferred

The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has ordered the transfer of six officers, including two holding the rank of Joint Police Commissioner and four Assistant Police Commissioners.

The transfers were announced through an official order signed by DMP Commissioner Sheikh Md. Sajjat Ali and confirmed by the DMP’s Media and Public Relations Department on Tuesday.

Joint Police Commissioner (Traffic Administration, Planning and Research) Mohammad Enamul Haque has been reassigned as Joint Police Commissioner (Traffic-South), while Joint Police Commissioner (Traffic-South) Mohammad Kamruzzaman has been moved to the position of Joint Police Commissioner (ICT).

Among the Assistant Police Commissioners, Mohammad Akkas Ali of Sabujbagh Zone has been transferred to Traffic-Ramna Zone, and Toufiq Ahmed of CTTC has been posted to Traffic-Sabujbagh Zone.

Additionally, Abdul Hannan Khan, Assistant Police Commissioner of Traffic-Ramna Zone, has been transferred to Patrol-Dhanmondi Zone. SM Hasibur Rahman, Assistant Police Commissioner of Patrol-Dhanmondi Zone, has been reassigned to Traffic-Kotwali.
