7 DMP officers transferred

Seven officers of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), holding the ranks of Deputy Commissioner, Additional Deputy Commissioner and Assistant Commissioner, have been transferred.

The transfers were made through three separate orders signed by DMP Commissioner Sheikh Md Sajjat Ali on Wednesday (September 24).

The officers are: Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Morshed Alam, transferred from the City Intelligence and Analysis Division to the Planning and Research Division; Additional Deputy Commissioner (Prosecution-1) Main Uddin Chowdhury, transferred to Counter Terrorism Investigation (Counter Terrorism-1); Additional Deputy Commissioner (Traffic-Admin) Md Mehedi Hasan, transferred to the City Cyber Crime Investigation Division; and Additional Deputy Commissioner Md Waliul Islam, transferred to the Training Division.

Assistant Commissioner Md Aslam Sagar has been transferred from the Traffic-Mohammadpur Zone to Assistant Commissioner (Patrol, Mirpur Division); Assistant Commissioner Kazi Mizanur Rahman from Patrol, Mirpur Division to Assistant Commissioner (Traffic-Mohammadpur Zone); and Assistant Commissioner Sharmin Akter Chumki from Traffic-Airport Zone to Additional Deputy Commissioner (Traffic-Admin).
