7 more children die of measles symptoms, total deaths 677
Seven more children have died of measles symptoms in the country in the last 24 hours (from 8 am on Friday to 8 am on Saturday).
During this period, 887 children have been infected with measles and measles symptoms. Of these, 80 have been confirmed to have measles.
This information was given in a report released by the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services on Saturday (June 20) afternoon.
According to the report of the Directorate General of Health Services, 677 children have died of measles and measles symptoms across the country since March 15. Of these, 584 children have died of measles symptoms. And 93 more children have lost their lives due to measles.
In addition, the total number of suspected measles patients from March 15 to date is 91,789, and the number of confirmed measles patients is 10,949. Of these, a total of 75,902 patients have been admitted to hospitals, of which 71,970 have already returned home after receiving discharge. Since March 15, 93 children have died of confirmed measles. And a total of 584 people have died from measles symptoms. The total number of deaths stands at 677.
