8 vehicles torched in 24 hours: fire service
At least eight arson attacks were reported in a single day up to 6:00 am on Monday, following a 48-hour blockade that the BNP and its alliances called for.
Two of the eight vehicles that were set on fire on Sunday around this time were in the Ramna and Rampura areas of Dhaka, according to the Fire Service and Civil Defense's media cell.
He said that four buses, two trucks, a lorry, and a pick-up van were set on fire during this period.
The districts of Bogura, Natore, Chattogram, Sirajganj, Gazipur, and Dhaka city have all been the scene of arson attacks, according to sources.
