9 police officials transferred

Nine police officials have been transferred and assigned to new posts.

The list includes three additional superintendents of police and six assistant superintendents of police (ASPs).

The announcement was made on Sunday (July 27). Earlier, the reshuffle was implemented through a notification signed by Inspector General of Police (IGP) Baharul Alam on Saturday (July 26).

The notification mentioned that Magura Additional Superintendent of Police ASM Muktaruzzaman has been transferred and sent to Kurigram. Additional Superintendent of Police MM Mohaimenur Rashid, working in Mymensingh, has been posted to the Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI). Additional Superintendent of Police Md. Rifat Bashar Talukder, who reported to the police headquarters after the end of the lien, has been assigned to the police headquarters.

In addition, APBN Assistant Superintendent of Police Md. Abdul Hadi has been posted to CID, DMP Assistant Police Commissioner Md. Tanvir Rahman to Gabtoli Circle, DMP AC Rajib Gain to APBN, CID ASP Abdullah Al Mamun to Khulna Police Training Center, RAB ASP Md. Asif Hossain to Adamdighi Circle, and Brahmanbaria Sarail Circle ASP Tapan Sarkar to RAB.

The notification further stated that this order will come into effect immediately.
