9 workers kidnapped from a farm in Lama

Terrorists have kidnapped 9 workers from a tobacco farm in the remote Luline Remu Palang area of ​​Ward No. 9 of Sarai Union in Lama Upazila of Bandarban.

According to police and local sources, an armed group raided the farm last night and kidnapped 9 workers from there.

Meanwhile, when the news of the kidnapping reached the police in the morning, police and army members are conducting operations in various hills to rescue the kidnapped tobacco farmers.

Confirming the truth of the kidnapping, Md. Atiqur Rahman, in-charge of Keyajupara Police Outpost in Sarai Union of Lama Upazila, said that armed terrorists kidnapped 9 workers from a remote area on Monday night, and later the army and police members are working to rescue the kidnapped people.

Incidentally, 26 workers from various rubber plantations in Lama Upazila were released by terrorists in exchange for ransom, two days after their abduction on February 18.
