A group is trying to create division in BNP: Mirza Fakhrul

BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has warned that attempts are being made to create division within the party. He said a political party is trying to take advantage of the situation for its own benefit, so leaders and activists must stay alert.

He issued the warning while speaking to party members after visiting the grave of former minister and late barrister Aminul Haque at Fazilpur in Godagari upazila of Rajshahi on Saturday, November 15.

He further said, “Another party is trying to come to power. Our past experience shows that they cannot bring change to the country or maintain law and order.”

BNP chairperson’s adviser Mizanur Rahman Minu and leaders and activists from different levels of the party were present. After his speech, Mirza Fakhrul left for a public rally in Chapainawabganj.
