ACC will publish names if pressure is applied: ACC chairman

If anyone attempts to exert pressure in order to obstruct investigations or inquiries into corruption, their names will be made public, Anti-Corruption Commission chairman Mohammad Abdul Momen has said.

He made the comment on Tuesday, November 25, at a views-exchange meeting held at the ACC conference room in Segunbagicha on the occasion of the ACC’s anniversary.

Responding to a question on whether improper pressure is exerted on the ACC, the chairman said that if anyone applies undue pressure in the future, their names will be revealed.

ACC commissioners Miah Muhammad Ali Akbar Azizi and Brigadier General Hafiz Ahsan Farid, retired, and secretary Mohammad Khaled Rahim were present at the meeting.
