ADB President meets Prime Minister in Dhaka
A high-level delegation led by Asian Development Bank (ADB) President Masato Kanda paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Tarique Rahman at the Prime Minister’s Office in Tejgaon on Monday morning (May 25).
The meeting took place amid ongoing cooperation between Bangladesh and the ADB on development financing, infrastructure, and economic growth initiatives.
Confirming the matter, Deputy Press Secretary to the Prime Minister Jahidul Islam Rony said Finance Minister Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury and Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister A B M Abdus Sattar were also present during the meeting.
Although details of the discussions were not immediately disclosed, the meeting is considered significant as Bangladesh continues to engage with international development partners on economic reforms, investment, and major development projects.
