Admission activities begin at Naogaon University for first time since establishment
Naogaon University is set to begin its first-ever admission process for undergraduate honours programmes. Admission activities will commence on Monday, June 8, in two departments of the university for the 2025-26 academic year.
According to a notification signed by university registrar Md Alauddin, students who have secured placements through the GST cluster admission test must complete their initial admission online via the GST website from 12:00 pm on Sunday, June 7, to 11:59 pm on Wednesday, June 10.
Students must submit their original SSC/equivalent and HSC/equivalent mark sheets, necessary documents, and a receipt of Tk 5,000 initial admission fee in an A4-size envelope mentioning the applicant's name and GST roll number.
Students placed in 'A', 'B' and 'C' units must submit required documents from June 8 to June 11, between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm daily, at Room 310 (third floor) of the Registrar's Office.
After submitting documents, students must collect an acknowledgement slip with the unit coordinator's signature and seal, which must be shown when retrieving original documents later.
Registrar Md Alauddin urged placed students to complete all admission-related formalities within the stipulated time. Class activities will begin soon after the admission process concludes.
The commencement of admission activities at Naogaon University for the first time is considered a significant milestone in the higher education sector of the district.
