Advance ticket sales schedule for Eid announced

Bangladesh Railways has decided to sell advance tickets to ensure smooth travel of train passengers on the occasion of the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha. Advance ticket sales will start online from May 13 to make the journey of people heading home comfortable. And advance ticket sales for the return journey after Eid will start from May 21.

According to the ticket sales schedule for the Eid journey, tickets for May 23 will be sold on May 13; May 24 for May 14; May 25 for May 15; May 26 for May 16 and May 27 for May 17.

The sale of return tickets will start from May 21. Tickets for May 31 will be available on that day; tickets for June 1 on May 22; June 2 for May 23; June 3 for May 24 and June 4 for May 25.

The instructions state that a passenger can buy a maximum of one ticket for the Eid journey and return journey and a maximum of four tickets can be purchased each time.

Advance and return tickets are non-refundable. However, on the request of passengers, 25 percent of the total seats (excluding upper class) will be sold from the station counter on the day of travel. All return tickets will be sold from 8 am as per the scheduled date.
