Adviser Bashir made chairman of Biman board

Sk Bashir Uddin, adviser to the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism and the Ministry of Commerce, has been appointed as the chairman of the Board of Directors of Biman Bangladesh Airlines Limited.

Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism issued a notification in this regard on Tuesday.

The appointment was made under the Bangladesh Biman Corporation (repeal) Act 2023, and the 'Articles of the Association of Biman Bangladesh Airlines Limited', formulated under the Companies Act 1994, the statement said.
