Adviser Mahfuza Alam's father elected GS of Ichhapur Union BNP

Azizur Rahman Bacchu, father of Adviser Mahfuz Alam, has been elected General Secretary of Ichhapur Union BNP in Ramganj Upazila.

Bacchu secured 266 votes under the rooster symbol, winning the post through members’ votes. He previously served as vice-president of the union BNP.

In the same election, Md. Oli Ullah won the president’s post with 255 votes under the umbrella symbol, while Jahangir Alam Samrat was elected Organizational Secretary with 241 votes under the fish symbol. Voting took place at Shrirampur High School on Thursday afternoon, with 453 voters casting their ballots.

BNP Joint Secretary Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Anee was present as the chief guest. Other attendees included District BNP Member Secretary Sahab Uddin Sabu, Joint Convener Advocate Hasibur Rahman, BAFUF Vice President Wahid Uddin Chowdhury Happy, BLDP Chairman and 12-Party Alliance spokesperson Shahadat Hossain Selim and former Central Jubo Dal Vice President Imam Hossain.
