After being confined for nine straight hours, Legal Advisor Asif Nazrul, Education Adviser C. R. Abrar, and Press Secretary to the Chief Adviser Shafiqul Alam finally left the campus of Milestone School and College in Uttara.

On Tuesday (22 July) around 7:45 PM, they exited the educational institution and departed in a car. It was reported that none of them made any public statements at that time.

Earlier in the day, around 3:30 PM, several hundred police personnel entered the Milestone College premises and escorted the two advisers and the press secretary out to safety. However, due to obstructions by protesting students at the Diabari intersection, they were forced to re-enter the campus shortly after 4:30 PM.

According to sources from the concerned authorities, the two advisers and the press secretary arrived at the campus around 10:30 AM on Monday to inspect the site of the recent accident. As they were leaving after their visit, they were confronted by protesting students. Eventually, the students surrounded them, effectively confining them within the campus.

During the protest, the entire area echoed with chants of “Fraud! Fraud!” by the agitated students. They blocked the road in front of the college, holding banners and placards with slogans such as “We don’t want justice, we want the bodies of our children,” “We demand an accurate count of the dead,” “We want justice,” and “We want justice.” The students also presented a six-point demand.
