Advisory council achieves record 78.41% decision implementation rate
The implementation rate of decisions taken by the Advisory Council of the interim government has reached a record 78.41 percent over the past year, according to official data.
The figures were presented during a regular Advisory Council meeting held at the Secretariat on Thursday (August 7), chaired by Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus. Following the meeting, Chief Adviser’s Press Secretary Mohammad Shafiqul Alam briefed the media.
Since the interim government assumed office on August 8 last year, 41 meetings have been held, where 194 summaries were presented. A total of 315 decisions were made, of which 247 have been implemented. Another 68 decisions are currently under implementation.
Additionally, the government has formulated 56 ordinances, with 10 more in process. Six policies, guidelines, work strategies, and action plans have been approved during this period. The Advisory Council also approved or ratified 23 bilateral and international agreements and protocols.
