The Advisory Council has expressed satisfaction over a recent meeting in London between Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus and BNP’s Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, said Syeda Rizwana Hasan, Adviser to the ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate.

Speaking to journalists on Sunday (June 15) at the Secretariat—the first working day after Eid—she noted that if any political party has concerns about the meeting, those should be addressed directly to the Chief Adviser. "Dialogue is the best way to resolve any issue," she added. Three other advisors were also present.

Addressing road safety, Road Transport and Power Adviser Fauzul Kabir Khan acknowledged traffic congestion during the Eid holidays, attributing it to two days of leave and the presence of unfit vehicles. He assured that strict actions will be taken against such vehicles going forward.

Meanwhile, Women and Children Affairs Adviser Sharmin H. Murshid stated that the government is preparing to introduce visible policy reforms to combat violence against women. She expressed optimism that these measures will lead to a reduction in such incidents nationwide.
