All kinds of security measures taken for Puja celebrations: Army Chief
Chief of Army Staff General Waker-Uz-Zaman said that all security arrangements have been made for the Hindu community during Sharadiya Durga festival.
He made this statement while visiting the puja mandap at Ramna Kali Mandir on Friday afternoon. During the visit, the army chief greeted the members of the Hindu community on the occasion of Durga Puja.
The army chief said, "Hindus, Muslims, Buddhists, and Christians have coexisted in this country for centuries. Our coexistence reflects the compassion we have for one another, both in the past and for the future."
Addressing the Hindus, he stated, "I guarantee your safety. Everything has gone well so far, and I firmly believe that the remaining time can be celebrated beautifully."
