Another woman's deformed body found in Pallabi flat
This time, the police have recovered the semi-decomposed body of a woman named Selina Afroz, 55, from a house in the capital's Pallabi area. According to police sources, Selina Afroz had been living alone in a flat in Section-6 of Pallabi for a long time. Upon receiving the information, the police went to the spot and recovered her body.
Her body was recovered on Wednesday (June 3) night. The woman's husband and two children are expatriates in Canada.
Pallabi Police Station Inspector (Investigation) Md. Hanif said that after receiving the information, the police recovered the woman's body. The body has been sent for autopsy. A case is under process at the police station in this incident. The real cause of death will be known after the investigation.
Police said that Selina Afroz had been living alone in a flat in Section-6 of Pallabi Police Station for a long time. Her semi-decomposed body was recovered from that flat on Wednesday night.
The victim was last contacted on her mobile phone by her nephew Ashfaqur Rahman around 11 pm on May 26. There has been no further contact with her since then. Therefore, the police believe that she died sometime between May 26 and June 3. Selina Afroz is the daughter of the deceased Khalilur Rahman and Afia Rahman. She was living alone in the flat she got from her parents.
Police said that Selina Afroz's husband Mobinul Haque and two children currently live in Canada. She also used to live in Canada with her family. However, due to a family dispute, she returned to the country about 12 years ago and started living alone in that house in Pallabi.
Incidentally, the police recently recovered the decomposed body of a woman from her house in the Pallabi area. Among her four sons and daughters, one is a joint secretary, a BUET teacher, and a Canadian expatriate. And the mother, a school teacher, lived in her daughter's house. Although the daughter did not realize it even a few days after her mother's death.
