Argentina withdraws from World Health Organization
Argentina has formally withdrawn its name from the World Health Organization (WHO). The country's Foreign Minister Pablo Quirno confirmed this decision on Tuesday, March 17.
On social media, Quirno announced that the withdrawal process has already taken effect.
He further stated that Argentina will now conduct international health activities based on bilateral agreements and regional cooperation, while maintaining its own health policies and autonomy.
Earlier, the United States had also withdrawn from the organisation.
