Army Chief General Walker-uz-Zaman honoured with Senabahini Padak

On the occasion of Armed Forces Day 2025, Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus presented the prestigious ‘Senabahini Padak’ to Army Chief General Walker-uz-Zaman.

The Army Chief received the medal from the Chief Adviser on Friday (November 21) during a ceremony at Dhaka Cantonment in honour of Armed Forces Day.

The event highlighted the valor and dedication of the Bangladesh Armed Forces.

During the programme, the Chief Adviser also addressed the gathering, paying tribute to decorated freedom fighters and their descendants for their contributions to the nation’s independence.

The ceremony celebrated the achievements of the armed forces and reinforced their role as a symbol of national pride and discipline.
