Bangladesh Army Chief Waker-Uz-Zaman has left for the US on an official visit. He left for the visit on Saturday (March 28). The statement said that during the visit, he will participate in an honorary proposal ceremony organized by the Georgia State Capitol in recognition of the significant contribution of Bangladeshi peacekeepers to the United Nations peacekeeping mission. In addition, as part of the visit, the army chief will also participate in bilateral meetings with relevant representatives of the United States.
