Army grants honorary lieutenant commissions on Independence Day
The Bangladesh Army has granted honorary lieutenant commissions to 18 Master Warrant Officers, promoting them from the rank of Junior Commissioned Officers, on the occasion of the Great Independence and National Day.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) informed this in a press release on Thursday, March 26.
According to ISPR, 18 Master Warrant Officers of the army have received honorary lieutenant commissions.
The officers are: Mohammad Jamal Uddin (Armoured), Md A. Kaiyum (Artillery), Md Moharram Hossain (Artillery), Md Saiful Islam (Engineers), Mohammad Shafiqul Islam Sikder (Engineers), Md Ismail Hossain (Engineers), Md Shahidul Islam (Engineers), Md Abdul Kader (Signals), Kazi Mokarram Hossain (E Bengal), Md Habibur Rahman (E Bengal), Mohammad Tajul Islam (E Bengal), Mohammad Kibria Kamal (E Bengal), Mohammad Kamruzzaman (E Bengal), Md Khaled Morshed Nirab (BIR), Sheikh Kamal Uddin (ASC), Obaidur Rahman Sekh (EME), Md Abul Hashem (EME), and Md Abdul Kader (CMP).
According to a notification issued by the Ministry of Defence, the honorary commissions will take effect from March 26.
