Atif Aslam gives fans good news at press conference

Pakistani singer Atif Aslam arrived in Dhaka on Wednesday night for his much-anticipated concert, and he brought good news for his fans at a press conference on Thursday.

The highly anticipated concert 'Atif Aslam Live in Dhaka' is scheduled to take place on Friday at the Cricket Academy premises in Purbachal, Dhaka.

At a press conference held at the Crown Plaza Dhaka Airport Hotel on Thursday (July 23) afternoon, Atif announced that his new album 'Subah Aaina' will be released on July 31. He also spoke openly about Bangladeshi audiences, food, artists and his future plans .

Atif shared that he had been so busy with concerts, recordings and film songs over the past few years that he did not get the opportunity to release his own written and composed songs. However, he had been writing songs and composing new music throughout this period.

"I was primarily singing for films. But for a long time, I felt it was a responsibility to myself to release the songs I personally liked. So this time, I am doing that. InshaAllah, I plan to release one album every year from now on," he said.

Speaking about the new album, Atif said the album, titled 'Subah Aaina', will feature eight songs. He has been working on this project for nearly eight years. He has collaborated with several musicians and producers, including Raj, Shiraz Uppal, Ahsan Parvez Mehedi and others.

When asked whether he would perform any songs from the new album at the Dhaka concert, Atif said, "No, I will not perform new songs before the album's release. I will return after the album is released, InshaAllah."

Speaking about the upcoming concert, Atif said his first prayer is that it does not rain. However, he believes that even if it does rain, the atmosphere would become even more enjoyable with the audience. He also hinted that this concert would be different from his previous ones.
