ATN Bangla reporter dies in Bogura road accident
Iqbal Morshed Ripon, Bogura correspondent of ATN Bangla, who sustained serious injuries in a road accident a few days back, died at National Institute of Neuro Sciences and Hospital in Dhaka on Wednesday.
He was 57. The journalist left his wife, son, daughter and well-wishers to mourn his death.
On September 26, Ripon was injured in a road crash when he was returning to Bogura town from Dhunut upazila after covering a report, said local newsmen.
He was rushed to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital from where he was shifted to National Institute of Neuro Sciences and Hospital as his condition worsened.
The reporter died at the hospital in Dhaka on Wednesday morning.
