Attack on RAB during operation in Narayanganj

An attack occurred on members of the Rapid Action Battalion during an operation in the Masdair area of ​​Narayanganj city. At least three members of the force were injured in this.

It is learned that the attack occurred around 2pm when they went on an operation in the Boalia Canal area on Tuesday (May 5).

Regarding the incident, RAB-11 commander Lieutenant Colonel HM Sajjad Hossain said that a detailed investigation is still being conducted to find out how or who carried out the attack.

Fatullah Police Station OC Mohammad Mahbub Alam said that one of the three injured RAB members was sent to Dhaka as his condition was serious. The other two are undergoing treatment in Narayanganj.

He also said that since the incident is related to the RAB operation, they will be able to provide detailed information.

Meanwhile, it is known that a large number of RAB members and a police team were present at the scene. The entire matter is being investigated.
